The new split by the great The Saddest Landscape and the New Jersey post-hardcore band Trophy Scars.
Trophy Scars's song is a slow song with beautiful singing, brass instruments, piano and alot more. A really nice song by this, to me, unknown band.
The Saddest Landscapes song starts instantly with the singer screaming and the drums banging hard. The guitar is just breathtaking, at the slow part I started to shiver. The song ends with the singer screaming "Cover your heart, cover your heart" and then the guitar comes in, ripping your heart apart with its awesomeness.
This does not sound like The stars in january, The sixth golden ticket and so on. They seem to have moved on in their style a little, both a good and a bad thing. But mostly a really good thing. I enjoyed this split alot
